Having issues verifying your phone number on SBK? We can’t have that, so let us help you sort it!
Not receiving verification code
Sometimes, phone coverage isn’t great and you may not receive your code straight away. Give it a minute!
However, if you still didn’t receive the code after a short while there are a number of things you can try:
Check your phone reception. If the signal is weak, restarting your device and/or moving to another location (e.g. different room of the house or outdoors) might do the trick.
Use the ‘Resend’ button. You might have to wait up to 60 seconds for the code to arrive, but hopefully that works.
It may sound silly, but restarting your device and reinstalling the app can sometimes work. The old ‘turn it off and on again’ trick!
You can also try a different phone number, if you have one.

‘Too many attempts’ error message
If you have unsuccessfully attempted to verify your phone number too many times, you will have to wait 24 hours before giving it another go with the same number.
You don’t have to wait that long though! Either:
Try a different phone number if you have it or
Use the SBK online sign-up form here
