Why does it matter to me?
As with all licensed betting companies, we are required to carry out these checks regardless of where you are located. There a multiple reasons that these checks are performed, including:
- To ensure the registered account holder is in control of the account
- To protect customers from fraud
- To comply with the laws and regulations in the jurisdictions that we operate
Why will you ask for?
To begin with, you may be asked to confirm your current occupation and income. Whilst we do require this information as part of these checks, rest assured that we will NEVER contact your employer during the verification process.
To confirm your details, it may be necessary to request documents as part of source of funds and wealth verification. Examples of documents that we may need to request include:
- Proof of income: Payslips, P60 or annual self assessment tax return
- Proof of payment method: Image of payment card, bank statements containing deposits to your account
- Proof of savings: Savings or investment account statement
- Confirmation of property sale from solicitor or lawyer
We apologise if this process feels intrusive but we are committed to only requesting documents or information absolutely necessary to comply with the laws and regulations by which we are governed.
When will you ask for this information and do I have to provide it?
Not all customers will be required to go through this process but if we do require further information from you we will contact you directly via email.
You are not obligated to provide the requested information but if we are unable to complete the verification process within a reasonable timeframe we are required to restrict or suspend your account.
If you provide the requested information/documents at a later date, we will be more than happy to review your account again.
