What is Fresh Legs?
Fresh Legs is an SBK feature that protects your player bets. If your chosen player gets subbed off, your bet automatically rolls over to their substitute – offering a safety net when players don’t complete the game.
However, to account for this insurance, Fresh Legs odds are slightly lower than standard markets. Click here to see which markets and which competitions have Fresh Legs insurance on.
What’s New?
You can now toggle Fresh Legs ON or OFF on eligible football events — allowing you to choose:
Fresh Legs ON = Insurance (substitution protection), slightly lower odds
Fresh Legs OFF = No insurance, industry-best prices
The toggle is found under the Category Tabs that include Player Markets.
How to Use the Fresh Legs Toggle
The Toggle
Appears on football events with Fresh Legs markets.
Default: ON (you’ll see Fresh Legs odds by default).
Toggling OFF switches to the standard (non-insured) odds.

How to Change Your Preferences
You can turn off the Toggle either from the Fresh Legs Onboarding Screen or from your Settings
Onboarding Screen:
- Click the "I want Fresh Legs always on" button when the onboarding slides are shown
Settings:
- Go to your SBK Preferences
- Scroll down to the Fresh Legs section
- Select either:
- Enabled for all events - Fresh Legs markets will be shown if the event is eligible for Fresh Legs and you won't see the toggle
- Choose every time - you will see the Fresh Legs toggle if the event is eligible for Fresh Legs
- Disabled for all events - Non Fresh Legs markets will be shown and you won't see the toggle
Important Note: Even if you turn on Enable Fresh Legs for all events, this only includes events that we offer Fresh Legs on. It is important to check the event page and check if the Fresh Legs banner is visible, or check which competitions and markets are offered in here
