2-UP Early Payout is a football betting market available on the SBK app. It gives you the chance to win your bet early - if the team you've backed goes 2 goals ahead at any point during the match, your bet is settled as a winner straight away. No need to wait for the final whistle.
It works alongside the standard Winner (full-time result) market. You choose which one you'd prefer, and can switch between them at any time before kick-off.
How does 2-UP work?
The 2-UP market has the same three outcomes as the standard Winner market: Home, Draw, and Away. The difference is how and when your bet is settled.
| Scenario | What Happens |
| Your team goes 2 goals ahead at any point during regulation time | Your bet is settled as a winner immediately - you're paid out early, regardless of what happens in the rest of the match |
| No team goes 2 goals ahead, and your team wins at full time | Your bet is settled as a winner at full time. |
| The match finishes level at full time. | he Draw outcome wins |
| No team goes 2 goals ahead, and your team loses at full time | Your bet loses |
Winner vs 2-UP: What's the difference?
Both markets let you bet on which team will win a football match (or whether it will be a draw). The trade-off is between better odds and early payout security.
How to manage your 2-UP preference
You have two ways to control which market you see:
1. Global setting
Set your default across the whole app:
Set your Global Setting during the onboarding pop up, OR;
Go to Account > Preferences
Find the 2-UP section
Choose Always on (see 2-UP markets by default) or Always off (see standard Winner markets by default)
Your global preference controls which market appears on listing pages and event pages throughout the app. The default setting is Always on.
| Onboarding Pop-up | Preferences |
2. Per-event toggle
On any football event page that has both markets available, you'll see a 2-UP Early Payout toggle at the top of the market list. Use this to switch between Winner and 2-UP for that specific match, without changing your global preference.
This toggle is only available before kick-off.
How to spot a 2-UP bet
Whenever you place a bet on a 2-UP market, a 2-UP badge appears next to your selection. You'll see this badge in:
The expanded bet slip when adding your selection
Your bet confirmation
My Bets - so you can always tell which of your bets are 2-UP
If your 2-UP bet wins via early payout (your team went 2 goals ahead), you'll see it settled in My Bets straight away.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is 2-UP available on all football matches?
No. 2-UP is available on select top-league football matches only. You'll see the 2-UP toggle and badge on qualifying events. Markets are typically created within 48 hours of kick-off.
Can I use Cash Out on a 2-UP bet?
Yes. Cash Out works on 2-UP markets the same way it does on standard Winner markets.
Can both Home and Away win in the same match?
Yes. If both teams lead by 2 goals at different points in the match, both the Home and Away outcomes can be settled as winners. This is unique to 2-UP and is the reason the odds are slightly shorter than the standard Winner market.
Does extra time count towards the 2-goal lead?
No. Only goals scored during regulation time (the first and second half) count. Goals in extra time are not considered for 2-UP early payout.
Can I bet on 2-UP in-play?
No, the 2-UP market is not available in-play. You will need to use the regular Winner market when the event goes in-play
What happens if I back the Draw in the 2-UP market?
The Draw outcome wins if the match finishes level at full time. There is no early payout trigger for the Draw - it always settles at full time. However, the Draw can still win even if one or both teams had a 2-goal lead earlier in the match.
Where can I change my 2-UP preference?
Go to Account > Preferences > 2-UP. You can set it to Always on or Always off. You can also override your preference for individual matches using the toggle on the event page.
